Some of our friends in the energy efficiency industry came to us with an idea for a grassroots organization that would work to direct funding from the stimulus package towards energy efficient retrofit projects. What we helped them create is PEERS - a nonprofit that’s looking to responsibly use stimulus spending to help America create more jobs, reduce our energy consumption and increase our energy independence. Damn near the most patriotic thing we’ve ever done.
